Gorgeous geisha. We just need to establish the white face, the strong eyebrows and Geisha lips. Use foundation that’s one shade lighter. Blend concealer and foundation on the eyebrows, and then draw higher eyebrows over them.

Vampire vixen. Since vampires are undead, use dull colors! First, use foundation that’s three tones lighter than natural. To make the eyes look like you don’t sleep at all, blend red and black eyeshadow. Apply more black on the crease and apply more red under the eyes. Don’t overdo the eyes or you might end up more scary than sexy.

Mystical mermaid. Think of undersea colors, like underwater plants, which are green. Have a mix of green, yellow and blue for the eyes. Don’t be afraid to play around with the brush strokes, since this is your chance to experiment.

A month ago, my grandfather gave me all his old cameras. Which was a surprise because no one in our family really knew he was interested in photography at one point in his life. Along with three other pretty-but-not-working-anymore cameras besides this one, he also passed on to me some of his favorite landscape work from the 40s and 50s.

Last night, BJ, Raleene and I shot each other for Heima’s new collection which will be unveiled this Saturday at their launch party. Personally love all the pink sets that they made. Tres cute!

If Ryan and Garovs had a house together, it would probably look like Heima. And they’d dress their children up in neon colors and florals and they’d all take photos of each other.

Chicosci’s What’s Your Poison? MV is coming very soon. It’s going to be mind-blowing and a lot different from the usual that we see on local television. Heard the first edit was shown at one of their recent gigs.

Yay for my third official music video appearance - the first one being Pedicab’s Ang Pusa Mo and the second being the recent Ely Buendia Wasak Waltz video. Or fourth, if I count the one with Stories of Now.

…we’d like to think there’s fall in Manila! Well, not really, but it’s definitely not stopping us from wearing camel-colored jackets and kick-ass footwear. How cute are those green and white Doc Martens?

If you’re wondering who these adorable people are, Krissy and Ericka are YouTube singing sensations while James won Pinoy Big Brother earlier this year. It was so much fun with these kids who were all so enviable, already being successful at what they do at such a young age. Wish I already knew what to do with my life at 15.

So the music video (which I helped style) for their cover of M2M’s “Don’t Say You Love Me” finally came out a few days ago. Mad props to the girls for being so pro and hard-working since we finished shooting at around 2 or 3 in the morning already.

This will be a photo dump of sorts, since I took some outtakes from the shoot. You can check the video out below the cut too.

Good sport. Mix athletic wear with everyday pieces for effortless street style.

Prep school. Jazz up an otherwise blah campus look with interesting prints and accessories.

Stripe for picking. Choose stripes that complement instead of clash, then pair down with basic casuals.

Night about town. Fancy meets romantic in a crisp combination of white and navy blue.

It’s been three months since my last circle lens review because I’ve been swamped with so much work these days - not that I’m complaining. This is long overdue, and I owe Japanese Candy a review for giving me so many circle lenses. Thanks again!

I’ve been wearing these Hyper Nudy Pinks for quite a while now, actually. They’re my second pair of pink lenses (first one being this), as well as my second pair of the same design (first one being this). I absolutely love them! They look rather fake and insane (lol) with flash photography, but they do wonders to your face under normal lighting conditions. They instantly brighten your eyes, thanks to the color and the 14.50mm diameter. However, they totes look better with any kind of eye make-up instead of bare eyelids. I’ve tried wearing them alone and they looked rather off. These are definitely not the lenses for you if you’re going for that “natural” look. I’d recommend these circle lenses to people who are generally more experimental when it comes to changing their look, and to cosplayers if you’re into that sort of thing. Just remember to keep the rest of your face bare make-up-wise if you opt to bring attention to your eyes.
