#sorryimnotsorry for the annoying word play in the title. I’m very much convinced that this is currently the best peach item in my closet, and that it is so good, I can already see myself abusing it this summer! The style is so me, and I wish it came in other colors too, like pastel yellow or powder blue! When I was in Tokyo, I found some organza-type baby doll dresses in MERCURYDUO. I got one in white though I was still on the constant lookout for pink or peach because of my sakura hangover. Thanks to Just G for always reading my mind and answering my prayers!

Peach (paired with light hair) never fails to give me a nice, golden tan. Cheating with fashion instead of braving the harsh sun? Lifehack for homebodies! :) Thankfully, Just G released so many peach and orange numbers in their latest summer collection to match both the iconic Just G blue and the warm summer heat. Check it out soon!

Bifesta Cleansing Lotion

Posted on Wednesday, 26 March 2014

Make-up removal is such an important part of my daily skincare routine. I rarely go out with completely zero make-up nowadays, so I have to make sure to take care of my skin properly, or else my face will end up a huge, pimply mess. You don’t want any of your make-up to stay on your skin for too long. You have to let your pores breathe when you go to sleep.

Bifesta

Bifesta cleansing lotions are your best friends when it comes to removing stubborn mascara or waterproof eyeliner and lipstick. When cleansing oil and facial washes still can’t do the trick, count on Bifesta to remove your make-up properly.

It is Japan’s first water-based make-up remover and is immensely popular among Asians who believe in proper skin care. You have to trust the Japanese when it comes to these things because they really have the best skin in the world! I always get surprised whenever I meet someone I think is just around my age but is already 5-10 years older, lol. I totally need whatever they’re having.

I use the MOIST variant because I have dry skin. Bright Up helps in whitening, Agecare helps in deep nourishment, and Sebum helps in oil control. I’ve also tried Agecare too and it works like a charm.

Bifesta

Using it is super easy! All you need is a simply cotton ball and 1-2 pumps of Bifesta cleansing lotion.

Bifesta

Duo black eyelash glue, K-palette eyeliner, CANMAKE eyebrow pencil, Lime Crime Red Velvet, 3 Concept Eyes red lip marker and NAKED3 palette eyeshadow on my very dry hand. You can’t properly remove all these with just soap and water!

Ta-dah! Not a single speck of make-up left. It only took one try to remove most of the make-up except for the stubborn waterproof lip markers. I had to use another cotton to make sure none was left on my hand. You really don’t want to leave any make-up on your skin because it might lead to skin problems and blemishes in the future. Better safe than sorry!

Bifesta

You can experience Bifesta at SM Makati (SM Store Beauty section) from March 27 to April 2! They will be giving away samples if you want to try it out at home or give them to your friends.

Just G: A Shorts Story

Posted on Tuesday, 11 March 2014

I know that summer is finally here when I need to open the aircon at night to get a good night’s sleep. I usually save a lot of electricity around January and February, but I’m pretty sure I’m also the reason why the electricity bills go up from March to May. Oops! I absolutely abhor scorching hot weather so expect me to be in malls or anywhere cold the next few months.

My closet’s pants pile has been disregarded for some time now, because I’m all about showing off legs nowadays. The flexibility of layering tops, jackets and sweaters appeals to me more because it’s usually my torso that’s sensitive to temperature changes! My legs need to breathe. Thank you very much!

Speaking of legs, shorts are the best ways to show them off this season! Just G’s early summer collection showcases different kinds to suit your needs. I wore one top (also from Just G) to prove how their shorts can be styled for various occasions!

The simple, everyday look with a twist. The shorts I’m wearing here are actually printed gym shorts! Who would’ve thought? Sporty elements are still huge this season, and as usual, I like juxtaposing them with girly and more sophisticated items.

The boy/girl look. Lace and florals with slip-ons and snapbacks? Yes please!

The laid-back weekend look. Just throw a sweater over your lace top if it gets chilly!

I also matched my lipstick with the embroidery on my denim shorts because I’m a little obsessive-compulsive like that.

The girls’ night out look. I love this pair of shorts because underneath the black lace is a colorful floral print! Great day-to-night item to have in your closet this summer.

(Le Bunny Bleu flats, EMODA top and skirt, SM Accessories clutch) Hype this look on Lookbook here.

Ultra cute and sparkly Christmas flats? Count me in! More often than not, I’d rather accessorize with sewn-in bling rather than pile a ton of accessories on top of each other. I always try my best to look as chic as possible using the least number of items. Seems like age has really turned me into a practical dresser!

I opted for Le Bunny Bleu’s Sina flats to a whole day of errands and meetings, and to a night out with Rg as we celebrated our 3rd anniversary together! The lack of heels make it casual enough for daytime use, while the presence of embellishments make it dressy enough for a date. If you’re looking for the perfect sophisticute (sophisticated and cute) pair of flats for everyday use, this is it! It also comes in brown/beige if you prefer something lighter that can also suit your spring/summer wardrobe.

There is an on-going sale for those who want first dibs on stocks and sizes (best to go today before people go crazy), but starting tomorrow, January 27, the entire fall/winter collection (examples here) will be 50% off!

This includes all their flats (including the ones I’m wearing here), sneakers, and boots. Time to stock up on these romantic vintage shoes that many K-pop stars love (examples here)! Totally eyeing the Viola loafers, thanks to a photo of a Crayon Pop member wearing them, so I’ll definitely drop by the store during the sale! See you there!

Visit them at 5th floor Bridgeway, East Wing Shangri-la Plaza (654-2599) and 2nd floor Glorietta 5 (955-7225).

While the rest of the world is freezing and most flowers are far from full bloom, I’m getting ahead of the season by wearing these dainty floral dresses instead of the usual F/W prints you’ve been seeing me in. Just G’s dresses are always so on point that I get one from every collection, except this time I managed to score two great finds that I know I can use and abuse once the temperature starts rising again.

The first dress actually has boning sewn into it for a not-necessary-but-always-appreciated slimming effect! This dress will definitely fly off the racks fast so best to head to any Just G store near you before stocks run out! So flattering I just want to wear it forever.
