It’s times like these that make me so grateful that I don’t have bangs anymore. I don’t know how I was able to survive the past summers with all that hair on my forehead.
On a related note, this particular updo and earrings combination, albeit unintentionally put together, makes this look a million times more polished than it should be. I could change out of this short dress and into a gown, and it wouldn’t look too weird. Thanks hairspray! I’m starting to find more uses for it.
So in love with this off-shoulder leotard that perfectly matches every item from my extensive skirt collection. The torso length is too long for me, however. I might as well cut the crotch area up and turn it into a regular top. Cue hashtag shorttorsoproblems.
This summer, off shoulder tops are my best bet to not looking too covered-up like I usually do. I’m not entirely averse to wearing things that show a lot of skin - I mean, I definitely wear a lot of short skirts. But balancing them out with conservative tops with long sleeves definitely make me feel more comfortable.
Styled this outfit to match my limited edition SNSD x Sheen watch that even comes with a special box! Definitely a must-have for K-pop fans and Korean fashion enthusiasts!
This was so timely (sorry I’m not sorry) because I’ve been obsessing over You Who Came From The Stars / My Love From The Star recently! Jun Ji Hyun has such elegant style in the series, and I love how her accessories are always on point. I just finished the last episode last night, and I’m still bawling like a baby.
Since I like to keep my accessories at a minimum, watches never fail to save the day whenever I feel my wrists are too bare. Instead of stacking so many accessories to create crazy arm parties, I prefer just sticking to one or two functional pieces that can speak volumes on their own. This shimmery, shiny Sheen watch from Casio does the job so well.

Finally got my hands on the white version of this ever-so-popular sweater. I wore a similar item in pink some time ago, but I’ve always wanted a white one that I can wear with anything, regardless of the season. True enough, it perfectly matched the royal blue shorts and ankle strap heels I wore to an afternoon coffee date with the boyfriend. I changed to black skinny pants and black pointy pumps in the evening for a more polished look.
Ankle straps are typically not recommended for vertically-challenged girls because they visually cut the leg off at the ankle and give the illusion of shorter legs, but if the heel height is high enough and your legs are your greatest asset, why not?
Never mind that my title totally sounds like a campaign for recycling. Dresses are really my lifesavers this summer, and I must say that this particular one is such a fun piece to wear. White dresses make the best templates for experimentation. Imagine it like a clean sheet of paper that has yet to be modified in any way. The possibilities are endless!
