Just G will forever be my top-of-mind store for casual denim + lace + floral print combos. They have a knack for making the daintiest details super wearable and not at all over-stylized. Nothing they sell is intimidating, and while the brand may have an image that they only cater to teens, I find myself still wearing the brand well into my quarter life like it’s perfectly normal. Classic is called classic for a reason. Raise your hands up in the air if you’re already finished with college, and you’re still buying clothes from Just G!

My last 3 Just G looks have all featured denim jackets, but this one is my most favorite so far. Soft denim is everything - lightweight and incredibly comfortable! Moreover, the motorcycle jacket style is forever chic in my book. I already wore this jacket with a pair of skinny jeans and a plain white tee for a perfect “model off-duty” look.

Just G boutique stores can be found in SM Megamall, Market Market, Sta. Lucia, SM Southmall, Eastwood City, SM North Edsa, SM Manila and SM Cebu. Just G and Gingersnaps share spaces at Shangri-la, Rockwell, Robinsons Metroeast, SM Baguio and SM Pampanga. They also have department store corners at SM Megamall, Robinsons Galleria, Landmark Trinoma, SM Makati, SM Mall of Asia, Robinsons Festival Mall, SM North Edsa, SM Cubao, SM Pampanga, SM Southmall and Robinsons Ermita.

Look demure with midi skirts! These are the perfect skirts for those who never got on the mini skirt or maxi skirt train. Not too short and not too long, midi skirts are a great and stylish compromise to the usual skirt lengths we encounter.

While styling midi skirts may seem intimidating at first, do know that they will never overwhelm a petite frame as long as the long hemlines are paired with plain, neutral tops that still show off a bit of skin (in this case, the neck and arms). I want more!

There’s nothing like a gold watch to complete a whole look. I almost never go out without a watch on my wrist nowadays, and I’m thankful that there are watches out there that can serve as *the* statement piece for my outfits.

Obviously, I’m not a fan of piling on accessories or “excessorizing”, and usually just go out with my basic pair of earrings, and a watch of the same metal as my jewelry. The new SHE-4800G-7A watch has genuine SWAROVSKI ELEMENTS that are able to compensate for the simplicity of any look. Been wearing it everyday since I got it from the Time Depot store in Shang! It also comes in rose gold and silver, if you’re not a fan of gold. Was originally eyeing the rose gold one, until I realized I don’t have a lot of rose gold jewelry to match it with. Still gorgeous though (photo here)!

Tube tops need not be just for the bold and daring! Take it from the self-proclaimed ambassador of modest dressing (a.k.a. me). Most of the time, I think twice about showing off too much skin, but these tops pass my modesty test, thanks to the relaxed fit and the adorable sweetheart neckline.

This is the part where I start running out of things to say, because I have absolutely no idea whether I want this outfit to be more S/S or F/W. While it’s a non-issue in the real world, I usually at a loss for words if an outfit is just an outfit without a particular theme or purpose. Forgive me just this once! Truth be told, describing outfits is actually quite challenging. I guess it’s because we normally don’t really go around telling people the inspiration or feelings behind our outfits.

Picking up from that, I think food blogging is a lot easier since we’re all naturally more vocal about our gustatory perceptions. I’d probably make a horrible food blogger, though. People who know how to cook are usually the ones who are most critical about flavor. I have zero cooking skills, and I’m pretty much solved with anything that is immensely sweet, salty or savory. I don’t really have much to say about what I eat in general. I exist to devour everything!

I can already imagine what I would write in my imaginary food blog: “Steak was good. The mashed potatoes! ME GUSTA! I need more of those in my life. YAAAAAAS - the carrots were everything! And the wine gave me so many feels. OM NOM NOM NOM, this whole meal.” Basically, it’s going to be just as annoying as my current blog, lol.
