Wore casual summer brights and shiny gold accents on that one sunny day before the typhoon came. I haven’t done print on print in so long, but I’ve always loved the effect of pairing stripes and florals together! Makes for a fun, youthful look.
Thanks to Swedish watch brand TRIWA for my new favorite sunnies and watch! I don’t accessorize heavily, but when I do, I make sure I throw in a classy watch that can double as both an accessory and as a functional timepiece.
Navy is the definitely the new black. Blue has always been my favorite color, but sadly, I only really got to build my navy wardrobe this year. All this time, I’ve been so fixated on black that I haven’t been able to pay any attention to any other alternative. Until now! I find that navy is a lot less harsh than black, yet still manages to give off a similar whiff of sophistication. I’m obsessed. I need more of it in my life.
To be honest, navy used to irk me a bit whenever I’d go shopping. Store lighting makes it so difficult to differentiate the two sometimes, and of course, the last thing I want to bring home is an item in the wrong color. I’ve been consciously looking for it nowadays, but I guess I have to wait until the F/W collections are available before I can go out and splurge on all things navy. It’s already July anyway? Just a little longer!
Happy 5th anniversary to Tricia Will Go Places! Who would’ve thought I would last this long? I updated my deviantART last week and also found out that I’ve actually been on the platform for 10 whole years. Which means I’ve spent about half of my conscious life on the Internet. Crazy stuff.
I don’t care if the French really wear berets or not, because these hats are too adorable for words! I can’t believe I’m so late into the game, especially since I’ve owned this beret for quite some time now. Better late than never, eh?
Dyeing my hair dark and constantly wearing these clip-on hair extensions suddenly put me into a mood to play pretend grown-up with my personal style as much as I can. Obviously, I fail every single time, since I usually only end up looking angry instead of mature, with these oh-so-serious expressions that I do for my outfit photos. I swear that I’m a bit more smile-y in real life than in my pictures, lol. If it’s not explicit enough, I swear that deep inside, I am actually all smiles and my heart is actually in super high spirits. Please forgive the chronic bitchface! Who else can relate to this?
