Just G: Dreaming of Soft Denim

Posted on Sunday, 11 May 2014

While it’s too hot to wear your favorite jeans out, resort to other denim styles that’s more summer-friendly! Just G recently came out with a bunch of soft denim style items that are sure to be staples in your closet. It’s perpetually summer here in Manila anyway!

I rarely do sleeveless tops + shorts combos because I usually like balancing things out (sleeveless + pants / long sleeves + short bottoms). However, when the weather is killer, these kinds of breezy tops and shorts can do all sorts of miracles.

The most ideal casual summer dress for all those like me who embrace that “girl-next-door” style!

I can’t stress enough how Just G is always on point with their dresses! I love how this particular one has these little lace details that are subtly slimming. The cut is also universally flattering for all body types.

Eat all you can and your (lower stomach) pooch will never show! This is how I pick out the style of my clothes, lol.

When talking about summer style, you can’t rule out light, breezy tops with relaxed silhouettes! This one comes with embroidery details in Just G’s signature orange color. Pair with floral pants and a bright-colored bag for a perfect weekend look.

Just G boutique stores can be found in SM Megamall, Market Market, Sta. Lucia, SM Southmall, Eastwood City, SM North Edsa, SM Manila and SM Cebu. Just G and Gingersnaps share spaces at Shangri-la, Rockwell, Robinsons Metroeast, SM Baguio and SM Pampanga. Le Bunny Bleu S/S 2014 Collection

Posted on Thursday, 8 May 2014

The new Le Bunny Bleu collection is finally here! Everything is so cute and girly, it’d be very much impossible for you not to leave the store empty-handed.

I visited the Shang East Wing store last week to take pictures and share them with all of you!

A few months ago, I got first dibs on these oxfords

This time, I left the store with another pink pair. Coincidentally, Crissey got the exact same pair too! #TrisseyConnection

Still thinking if I should go back to the store and get the mint version.

The Le Bunny Bleu bunny can’t get enough of Le Bunny Bleu flats too.

Oxfords that would look great with dresses.

Not into color or patterns? This designs comes in plain black and white!

My favorite Simplicia oxfords.

Lots of slip-ons in the S/S collection.

Love the muted beige + neon green pair!

I tried these on and they were so comfy!

Tweed, anyone?

Plain flats that can easily match anything and everything!

Le Bunny Bleu ribbon designs are back! Such a princess-y look!

Black and red for those who aren’t big on pastels but still want a girly twist on their footwear.

Ribbons and glitters!

Peep-toe flats to show off your perfect pedicure.

Signature Le Bunny Bleu design in newer, fresher colors.

Pair these cuties with your favorite denims!

Everyday flats for the stylish working girl.

Also available are new Le Bunny Bleu designs for your daughters and nieces!

Start them young with blinged-out shoes!

Classic pointy toe shoes with the trademark logo.

Need a boost of height or just starting to learn how to walk in heels? Le Bunny Bleu now offers heeled shoes that are ideal for everyday use.

The heel height isn’t crazy at all! Wearing these shoes will never stress your feet and legs out. I particularly love this penny loafer style! I can already imagine these with all my floral skirts.

Hope you guys enjoyed that little tour around the Le Bunny Bleu flagship store! A lot of K-pop stars wear Le Bunny Bleu so you should definitely check the brand out if you’re a fan of K-everything!

Visit them at 5th floor Bridgeway, East Wing Shangri-la Plaza (654-2599) and 2nd floor Glorietta 5 (955-7225).

They’re giving away special double points this weekend, May 9-11, 2014! Every purchase in Le Bunny Bleu will be equal to double stamps on the Le Bunny Bleu stamp card. Customers will have a faster time to get their Le Bunny Bleu Lovers discount card!

Customers who purchase any amount in the store will be given a stamp card that you can complete within a year. Once completed, you can get a discount card that can guarantee a lifetime discount of 10% for cash and 5% off for credit card purchases. Exclusive promotions and sneak peek of new collections will also be granted to holders of the card.

Little Match Girl

Matchsticks on my top! And I’m literally little because without my heels, I’m only 5’3”. I always get “I thought you were model height!” kind of comments when I meet people in person for the first time. Thanks to proper posing and angles for this false-but-popular belief! And I guess I also have to credit my odd proportions and body type.

Last week, Crissey and I discovered (after 8 years of friendship, lol) that we are about the same height when sitting down, even if she is barely 5 feet tall. I only noticed it when we took some photos together recently. The best Trissey selfies happen when we’re sitting down. When we’re standing, the height difference is a lot more obvious! Discovery of the century!

Anyhow, life hacks to make it seem like you have legs for days? They exist, and they can help you even if you’re not wearing sky-high heels.

One way is to tiptoe instead of just standing flatly on the ground. Lots of personal style bloggers do this to look more graceful and to avoid looking stumpy. Another way is to plant your foot in front of the other. This is the most effective height-boosting pose for me! It also gives you the illusion of hips if you don’t have any (like me).

Try these out and let me know if these techniques work for you!

Statement on my top aside, here’s a sweet spring/summer outfit that I wore to a weekend out with my family. I’ve been favoring flat shoes or low heels recently, and I think it’s all because of Le Bunny Bleu’s influence. Their S/S 14 collection is perfect in every way - I had the hardest time choosing what to pick because I had about 5 different pairs that I really wanted to add to my shoe collection.

Ultimately, I chose this pair of oxfords in white, even though the black version was the first one to catch my eye. I have way too many black shoes already, and I believe that white shoes are going to be very trendy in the next couple of months. While most people aim to have abs this summer, I aim to simply lessen the amount of black I wear on a daily basis, lol.

My 2nd choice from the collection was a pair of pastel pink oxfords. Now that I think about it, I should’ve already bought it when I was in the store last week. When you buy 2 pairs from the S/S 14 collection, you can get a free Le Bunny Bleu stuffed toy!

They also launched a new LeBunny Bleu Lovers Discount Card! Customers who purchase any amount in the store will be given a stamp card. Each stamp card has 20 stamps (P500 value each with a total value of P10,000) which must be completed within 1 year.

Once you complete it, the card can guarantee a lifetime discount of 10% for cash and 5% off for credit card purchases. Exclusive promotions and sneak peek of new collections will also be granted to holders of the card.

As an added bonus, the first 10 who will get a card will also receive a special LeBunny Bleu Manila canvas tote.

Visit them at 5th floor Bridgeway, East Wing Shangri-la Plaza (654-2599) and 2nd floor Glorietta 5 (955-7225).

Le Bunny Bleu: Dazzling Dream (+ F/W Collection Sale)

Ultra cute and sparkly Christmas flats? Count me in! More often than not, I’d rather accessorize with sewn-in bling rather than pile a ton of accessories on top of each other. I always try my best to look as chic as possible using the least number of items. Seems like age has really turned me into a practical dresser!

I opted for Le Bunny Bleu’s Sina flats to a whole day of errands and meetings, and to a night out with Rg as we celebrated our 3rd anniversary together! The lack of heels make it casual enough for daytime use, while the presence of embellishments make it dressy enough for a date. If you’re looking for the perfect sophisticute (sophisticated and cute) pair of flats for everyday use, this is it! It also comes in brown/beige if you prefer something lighter that can also suit your spring/summer wardrobe.

There is an on-going sale for those who want first dibs on stocks and sizes (best to go today before people go crazy), but starting tomorrow, January 27, the entire fall/winter collection (examples here) will be 50% off!

This includes all their flats (including the ones I’m wearing here), sneakers, and boots. Time to stock up on these romantic vintage shoes that many K-pop stars love (examples here)! Totally eyeing the Viola loafers, thanks to a photo of a Crayon Pop member wearing them, so I’ll definitely drop by the store during the sale! See you there!

Visit them at 5th floor Bridgeway, East Wing Shangri-la Plaza (654-2599) and 2nd floor Glorietta 5 (955-7225).
