Obsessed with my new tulle skirt from New York designer Alexandra Grecco! 6 layers of tulle AND fully lined. It’s so hard to find good quality tulle skirts nowadays. I’ve always wanted one that was also long enough to cover my knees. Anything for that full princess effect. I think I want it in other colors too.

I tried to style it with Carrie Bradshaw in mind, but opted to make the look more casual/wearable (and less ballerina) with a statement tee and some slip-ons. Of course, I couldn’t help but inject some sort of pink in there.

Le Bunny Bleu: Fairytale

Modern fairy look. All I need now are wings!

Le Bunny Bleu currently has their whole S/S 2014 collection on sale. When I went to visit their store in Shang, I didn’t have an excuse not to get these Twiggy flats anymore, especially when I saw the 50% off tag. I’m already psyched for mid-September because I’m honestly more of a F/W kind of girl. Looking forward to a new batch of comfy, stylish, and perfect-for-everyday shoes from one of my favorite shoe brands.

Slightly related story about Le Bunny Bleu shoes - I’ve been watching a K-drama called Master’s Sun recently (thanks to my friends Crissey and Farrah’s recommendation), and noticed a brief cameo of Le Bunny Bleu in one of the episodes, lol. Joo Jоong-won planned Kingdom Mall well!

Le Bunny Bleu Philippines can be found at 5th Floor Shangri-la Plaza (654-2599) and 2nd Floor Glorietta 5 (955-7225).

Candy colors, sorbet shades, and… unicorn prints? Here’s a throwback to my Lisa Frank-filled childhood, only with less saturated rainbow vomit. I’ve been secretly wanting these mystical creature-themed clothing, lol. This is the Tumblr girl in me speaking, obviously.

It was a huge summer trend for a lot of Japanese brands, especially with the recent boom of ’90s style and the Neo Gal subculture movement, and with new brands like EVRIS putting mermaids on everything for their S/S 2014 collection. I don’t think I can ever be bold enough for Alisa Ueno-levels of unicorn-ness, so here’s something that’s a bit more wearable for those days when you just feel like horsing around…

(Just G jacket, top, skirt and accessories, Comfit flats) Hype this look on Lookbook here.

Nowadays, I’m all about the girl-next-door look! Gone are the days when I try so hard to look edgy and trendy, because at the end of the day, I still generally prefer sticking to what’s comfortable, easy-to-wear, and friendly on the eyes. And Just G has always been around to make fashion friendlier for us simple, no-fuss girls! They just happened to released new sale items that are 50% off until August 3 so don’t forget to check out their boutiques and department store corners.

One material that’s sure to be part of Just G’s collection is lace. I often see it on their tees, denim shorts, jackets, and accessories, but now they finally released it in the perfect skirt form! I can’t be any happier since I’ve been trying to consciously veer away from wearing my favorite A-line skirts everyday (It’s been very difficult - I’m already having withdrawal symptoms, lol).

Naturally, I paired it with a light denim jacket since I believe combining lace and denim together always makes for a classic, girly outfit. What do *you* usually pair with lace?

Just G: Dreaming of Soft Denim

Posted on Sunday, 11 May 2014

While it’s too hot to wear your favorite jeans out, resort to other denim styles that’s more summer-friendly! Just G recently came out with a bunch of soft denim style items that are sure to be staples in your closet. It’s perpetually summer here in Manila anyway!

I rarely do sleeveless tops + shorts combos because I usually like balancing things out (sleeveless + pants / long sleeves + short bottoms). However, when the weather is killer, these kinds of breezy tops and shorts can do all sorts of miracles.

The most ideal casual summer dress for all those like me who embrace that “girl-next-door” style!

I can’t stress enough how Just G is always on point with their dresses! I love how this particular one has these little lace details that are subtly slimming. The cut is also universally flattering for all body types.

Eat all you can and your (lower stomach) pooch will never show! This is how I pick out the style of my clothes, lol.

When talking about summer style, you can’t rule out light, breezy tops with relaxed silhouettes! This one comes with embroidery details in Just G’s signature orange color. Pair with floral pants and a bright-colored bag for a perfect weekend look.
