Tube tops need not be just for the bold and daring! Take it from the self-proclaimed ambassador of modest dressing (a.k.a. me). Most of the time, I think twice about showing off too much skin, but these tops pass my modesty test, thanks to the relaxed fit and the adorable sweetheart neckline.
Candy colors, sorbet shades, and… unicorn prints? Here’s a throwback to my Lisa Frank-filled childhood, only with less saturated rainbow vomit. I’ve been secretly wanting these mystical creature-themed clothing, lol. This is the Tumblr girl in me speaking, obviously.
It was a huge summer trend for a lot of Japanese brands, especially with the recent boom of ’90s style and the Neo Gal subculture movement, and with new brands like EVRIS putting mermaids on everything for their S/S 2014 collection. Sorry I’m not sorry that even my taste in distressed jeans is minimalist. I’m still rather on the fence about ripped boyfriend jeans (I can’t with those that look like they have a million messy rips on them, or those that have giant, gaping holes in weird places!), but here’s one pair that I’m crazy about. They look just like my favorite black pair of skinnies, except with these perfectly-placed slashes near the knees! Not too sloppy but still with that little kick of edginess for a cool, casual look.
Thanks Runway Bandits!
These pants from the latest Fall 2012 collection of Tory Burch are my perfect fitting jeans to date! So comfortable and I absolutely love the gold details on the side that make it more than just your ordinary pair of jeans. I haven’t worn blue or dark blue denim pants in a while but I just might rekindle the flame of this old romance. Can you believe that skirts/shorts-loving me used to live in my jeans throughout my early college years?
