SO! F.A.B. Brand Ambassadors
(Photographed by Tricia Gosingtian, make-up by Marj Sia, hair by Liz de Asis - dream team again!)
Photographed the brand ambassadors of SO! F.A.B., Rosanna Aranaz, Domz Tiu, Kryz Uy, Boop and Kimi Yap, about a month ago. Check the website out for more pictures! I love being able to spend time with fellow bloggers, but the dorky photographer in me likes it so much better whenever I get the chance to take pictures of them. This shoot = perfect example.
My personal faves from the brand: James Pink, Valerie Beige, Joel Black, Tabor Cream and Domz Black/Grey
Marié Digby

(Photography and styling by Tricia Gosingtian, make-up by Marj Sia, hair by Liz de Asis and Valerie Chua) Dream team! Thanks to my fabulous beauty queen friend Alexis Go (photo below), I was able to spend a brief afternoon shooting YouTube celebrity-turned-international artist Marié Digby who was so incredibly sweet and nice to talk to and work with. So many photographers could only dream of shooting someone as gorgeous and talented as her. Thank you for the wonderful time, girls!

black + gold

(Topshop top, Urban Outfitters maxi skirt, Asian Vogue satin heels, from Singapore cross necklace, Forever 21 leaf cuff, Bijoux de Lou connector ring; Thanks to the fabulous Liz de Asis for helping me with the photos and for doing an amazing job with my hair!) Hype this look on Lookbook here.

Liz put my hair up in this intricate updo that reminds me very much of formal events, thus the attempt to create an ensemble that’s a little more dressy than usual, but still casual enough for a dinner date. There’s something really elegant with mixing black and gold too, so I wanted that hint of sparkle in my outfit to become an accent to this long, black maxi skirt which might look too dark and heavy on its own.
Just G: Young at Heart

(Just G dress, Forever 21 accessories, People are People heels; Thanks to the fabulous Liz de Asis for helping me with the photos and for doing an amazing job with my hair!) Hype this look on Lookbook here.

While Just G is targeted mostly to tweens, I still find a lot of their stuff wearable even if I’m already turning 23 this year. Always being surrounded by younger people doesn’t make me pressured at all to explicitly dress up more maturely on normal days. I’d love to make the most out of my youth, but this doesn’t mean that I’d never want to grow up. I know I’ll get there eventually. However, there is no doubt that wearing cutesy dresses like this one or wearing my hair in a giant braid are just a few of some semi-shallow things that I can still enjoy at this age, and I don’t want ever want to miss this phase in my life by hurrying time! I’ll wear stuff like this while I still can!
On a not-so-shallow level, I can totally still be young at heart even decades from now by not letting the complexities of the world overwhelm me, and by always seeing the world in a positive light while enjoying the simple pleasures in life. And I know this isn’t impossible because I have an amazing support group consisting of my really good friends and family.
Random, incoherent thoughts at 5:25 AM.
In other news, it seems like I really haven’t gotten over summer yet despite the rainy weather! I saw this dress in the store and I just had to get it because it looks so dainty. Plus points for versatility because you can make it either really casual or pretty dressy depending on the accessories that you match with it. For this sophisticute look, I paired this dress with pearl accessories and coral peeptoe heels which I revived from 5 years ago… back when I only probably had about 2-3 pairs of heels in my shoe cabinet. Now I can’t even fit all my heels in my room! I am such a late bloomer.

Just G boutique stores can be found in SM Megamall, Market Market, Sta. Lucia, SM Southmall, Eastwood City, SM North Edsa, SM Manila and SM Cebu.
