I think I bought around 4 different kinds of denim jackets in the last 2 months! What is this addiction?
With 90s fashion coming back with a vengeance, the denim jacket is surely one of this season’s most important staples! My relationship with denim jackets go way back 7th grade, the same time elephant pants caught on (to my dismay). Good thing denim jackets were carefully tried and tested (with good reviews) through the years, and now they’re slowly creeping back into my closet after so long.
One of the best things about denim jackets is their ability to put a fun, street vibe to almost anything! Just G included a good (and affordable) denim jacket in one of their recent collections, so I put together two different looks to show how you can wear it with other Just G items!
Grungy denim and flirty florals always make a good combination because of the contrast between tough and sweet.
Here’s something a little inspired by K-pop (mostly the headband and the shoes). Denim jackets also work surprisingly well with different kinds of prints and patterns! Who would’ve thought?
Quick post! This is a compromise between my own personal style and Japanese MODE style which is my primary fashion inspiration for a while now. Again, it’s all mostly black with white, and a single item that’s another color. Usually yellow. I should make a separate tag for all my outfits with the same black-white-yellow color scheme. Any suggestions what to call it besides “bee colors” or “taxi colors”?
Cat ear pearl headband! I’m obsessed with everything that has pearls recently. I really think pearl and crystal embellishments are going to be huge in the next couple of months. Or just for me, at least!
My new fave shoes are these sky high two tone peep-toe platforms that are insanely comfortable! I walked 6 hours in SM Mall of Asia wearing these, and I surprisingly didn’t experience any unfortunate cuts or bruises at all. I wish I could get these in other color combinations.
This skirt makes an appearance for the nth time. I can’t get enough of pleather!
Anyhow, I’ll be in Singapore starting Friday for some sort of youth summit, but I made my July 26th free so I can meet up, have coffee, do a mini-shoot or just hang out with other bloggers (still don’t know who, but do comment if you have anyone you’d think would be game to do a meet-up), just like how I was able to spend some time with Cheesie and Bobo in KL last November. Can’t wait!
