i love koi x Tricia Gosingtian: Slumberdoll

(Photographed by Tricia Gosingtian. Make-up and hair by Marj Sia. Model: Julz Savard)
This is the second out of the two collaborations I did with the brand, i love koi. Personally my more preferred one since it’s a more timeless design that’s super flattering for all shapes and sizes without compromising your innocence (lol)
I have the weirdest swimwear insecurity - I can never bring myself to wear bikinis. I can only really wear high-waist two-piece ones and one-pieces, mostly because I can’t bear the fact that it’s possible to expose the same amount of skin if I’m wearing lingerie or underwear. I’m also the type who doesn’t want to get bothered being all conscious and stuff while swimming! It’s amazing how a lot of my friends have already mastered the art of not flashing their body parts randomly while at the beach.
And so this swimsuit design came to life. If I had to make the most ideal swimsuit for myself, this would be it! It’s my modern twist to vintage swimsuits which are so hard to find commercially nowadays. It covers enough, but also reveals enough. It’s totally swimmable, if you’re like me who can get a bit conscious with revealing too much skin. You can get these at the i love koi main page or Facebook page once they’re posted online. It comes in a wide variety of color combinations and fabric patterns, so be sure to tune in the website every now and then. I own two variations myself - a gold + black one that I also used as a top during the fashion show last 19th of April, and another red strips + blue one that that’s super cutesy-nautical. Here’s a photo of actress Maja Salvador wearing it as a top as well.
If you’re interested in seeing them first before buying them, you can visit Complex Lifestyle Store in Eastwood Mall now.
i love koi x Tricia Gosingtian: Lolita

(Photographed by Tricia Gosingtian. Make-up and hair by Marj Sia. Model: Julz Savard)
Thanks to all those who dropped by the i love koi fashion show last night! If you’re interested in buying my design collaboration with them, please drop by Complex Lifestyle Store at Eastwood City Mall later at 3 PM onwards. My two designs will be available in a variety of colors, patterns and sizes, and I’ll be giving away and raffling off each of my designs.
See you there, along with the other i love koi Style Icons Danah, Stacy who designed super chic plus size swimwear, and Patricia who channeled her fierce aesthetics to create ready-for-the-runway cut-out designs. All swimsuits will also be available online (of course!) and at Complex Alabang Town Center and Festival Mall by the end of the month.
This is the first out of two design collaborations. Something Lolita-esque with the ruffles and ribbons, thus the name, and it was pretty much born out of my difficulty of finding an ideal cutesy high-waist swimsuit (for myself, haha) that not only is wearable but also swimmable. Just the perfect balance of cute and functional, I think!
Thanks to my dear friend Julz Savard for being my muse for this line. I can think of no one else who can pull this off better than you do. <3
Thanks to i love koi for making this happen.
P.S. Yes, they ship internationally!

I love being able to spend time with fellow bloggers, but the dorky photographer in me likes it so much better whenever I get the chance to take pictures of them. This shoot = perfect example.
My personal faves from the brand: James Pink, Valerie Beige, Joel Black, Tabor Cream and Domz Black/Grey

Marié Digby

(Photography and styling by Tricia Gosingtian, make-up by Marj Sia, hair by Liz de Asis and Valerie Chua) Dream team! Thanks to my fabulous beauty queen friend Alexis Go (photo below), I was able to spend a brief afternoon shooting YouTube celebrity-turned-international artist Marié Digby who was so incredibly sweet and nice to talk to and work with. So many photographers could only dream of shooting someone as gorgeous and talented as her. Thank you for the wonderful time, girls!

Shoot: Kristine

(Photographed and styled by Tricia Gosingtian, make-up by Marj Sia, model: Kristine Dinglasan) I met this half-German half-Filipino girl two years ago when she visited the Philippines for the first time. She flew back in for vacation but she’s going back to Germany next week. I hope these photos can somehow immortalize the memories she has had in the last five weeks.
Today is my deviantART account’s 7th birthday. This shoot is reminiscent of the work I used to do back then - natural light, on location, and spontaneous.
Heima for Bayo Launch

Last December 17th at Bayo, Eastwood Mall, Heima officially launched their Bayo-inspired furniture. Fashion design meets interior design.
“A sisterhood of some sort, Heima and Bayo aims not just to dress you up, but your home as well. At the end of the day, you want to go home to sit back and relax. To live your life, sitting pretty.” - Heima for Bayo
Thanks Heima for inviting me to model for this collection. I want to keep everything!

There was a dainty tea party of sorts inside the store, which I thought was perfect for both Heima’s and Bayo’s images. They served cake and pretty-looking pastries.

Some familiar faces attended the event. I bumped into some of my favorite people from Candy, Mimi and Macy!

DJ MJ!

Heima is the brainchild of these two wonderful people - Rossy who is an interior designer, and Bong who is Heima’s main marketing man.

Walkie Talkies were the main musical act that night. I love their music! You should totally follow them (here).

With Raleene, friend and fellow fashion blogger.

MJ and Dy. Feeling out of place because my nickname isn’t as short as theirs.

My friend Marj arrived and cursed me for always wearing chunky platform heels!

Photo by David. Dy took this photo of me during the Heima for Bayo shoot. Instax!

Spotted fellow F21 brand ambassador David! We spent a great deal of time camwhoring.

One of our many photos together.

This couch isn’t part of the Heima for Bayo collection but it’s cute nonetheless! You can find (the real) Heima for Bayo at Eastwood Mall, Shangri-la Mall, Trinoma and Power Plant Mall in Rockwell.

After the event, I went straight to a Christmas get-together with my ever-so-fashionable friends Seph and Shai, Domz, Marj, Val and Feanne. <3
The Mane Attraction Wigs by Marj Sia

To everyone wondering where I get my wigs, my good friend (and one of my favorite make-up artists) Marj Sia sells them. They’re good quality synthetic wigs which are perfect for all sorts of occasions. I use them for photoshoots when I’m too lazy to style my real hair or when I want to change my look without spending so much.
Limited stocks only. Free shipping for orders worth P2000 and up. You can get them here. Have fun wig-shopping! My favorite would be the “Tracy” wig (top photo) since it’s so J-pop. So glad I got to keep it!
