Quick post! I’m here in Kyoto, relaxing after a long (but good) tour day. I hope everything’s been just as good back in Manila! Though I’m pretty sure it’s even better, since I just found out a few minutes ago that all my friends and my boyfriend are going out tonight without me! Ahh, if only teleportation existed!
Anyhow, before flying out to Japan, I was swamped with a lot of work and errands and couldn’t really prioritize my personal style as much as I wanted to! Took a break from heels and opted for statement flats from last season’s Tory Burch. Recently, I’ve been trying my best to revive all the unused flats because I’ve been giving my heels way too much attention in comparison. By the time I get back from Japan though, my flats will probably appeal to me more as I’ll need to rest my feet from all the walking! It has only been 3 days and I feel as if my legs can fall off any minute now…
(Dizzy Little Dotty “I’ll Fight You For It” tee, Tory Burch Priscilla Top Handle Crossbody in Stawberry, Katie&Lee flower headband, Zara pants, Michael Antonio heels, DigitalismPH watch) Hype this look on Lookbook here. Thanks to Rg Gabunada for taking my photos!
I resisted the urge to wear this with a cutesy blouse and a floral skirt as I already think that this can’t be any more cliche for spring. Instead, I took on a challenge that some people have requested from me in the past - wearing a tee + pants combination.
Of course, me being me, I found a way around it, as I was not so much in the mood to wear dark, non-easter egg colors. I don’t suppose this graphic TEE (from an Australian label which I immediately fell in love with as soon as they sent me a request to wear their stuff. Wearable art is ALWAYS a good thing!) and floral PANTS pairing can constitute as cheating? This is what you get for not stating any guidelines… Ho ho ho!
If there’s any kind of bottom that dominates my wardrobe, it would have to be these high-waist poofy A-line skirts that never fail to give off a sweet and innocent vibe to every outfit I wear. Even if it’s made from faux leather.
While everyone’s crazy about the upcoming spring/summer stripe trend, I’m gonna have to say that Tory Burch released the perfect top for this trend way back last season, in their fall/winter collection. I got first dibs back then, but it’s super timely to wear it now!
These pants from the latest Fall 2012 collection of Tory Burch are my perfect fitting jeans to date! So comfortable and I absolutely love the gold details on the side that make it more than just your ordinary pair of jeans. I haven’t worn blue or dark blue denim pants in a while but I just might rekindle the flame of this old romance. Can you believe that skirts/shorts-loving me used to live in my jeans throughout my early college years?
