Thank you Tory Burch and SSI for these glorious slip-ons! I’ve been constantly using and abusing this pair ever since they arrived on my doorstep. Who wouldn’t? It comes in classic black, and is one of the most tasteful and unique takes on the slip-on shoe trend I’ve seen yet. The quilted detail gives just the right amount of edge, making this pair such a dream for girls like me who prefer an understated but still elegant kind of style. Perfect everyday shoe!
In the Philippines, Tory Burch is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI), and is located at Greenbelt 5, Rustan’s Makati, and Rustan’s Tower Shangri-La Plaza Mall. There is currently an end of season sale at all Tory Burch stores. Enjoy up to 30% off shoes, clothing, handbags and accessories until August 16, 2014!
Off shoulder frocks are still very much alive and kicking, and I hope they don’t go away any time soon because I have yet to collect off shoulder dresses in all the styles and colors possible.
I particularly love this dress because it is so adorably confused. It’s as if it doesn’t know if it wants to be summer with the tropical print, or fall with the red/black leaves.
Speaking of fall, I really want to make it a goal to catch the fall foliage every year, and be a legitimate leaf peeper. Crossing my fingers that when I go to Korea this October, the leaves haven’t completely withered yet! I can already imagine all the photos!
Finally found the perfect crop top that has a high neck and long sleeves! Call me modest, but I generally prefer to keep skin-baring to a minimum. I’m usually already all legs so I always balance it out by wearing more conservative tops (i.e. my favorite button-downs and sweaters).
I count showing my face as skin-baring too, so…
Yes. I need more cloth on my body.
ParkerBarker by Lime Ricki Swimwear is an exclusive, limited edition line by New York designer Hayley Parker Barker. I met Hayley at New York Fashion Week 2011, and we’ve managed to somehow keep in touch through Facebook throughout the years!
She, along with her husband, created boys’ clothing line Culdesac (Check out the link! It gives me so much hope and inspiration for my future children!). This time, Hayley used her fabulous taste and FIT knowledge in design to collaborate with Lime Ricki for a few 60s-inspired vintage swimsuits!
Here I am wearing my favorite from the collection. This Birkin one-piece is super classy with the halter neck and trendy tropical print, but what I love most about it is knowing that 10% of proceeds from this suit go to bringing clean water to developing countries. What a wonderful way to make fashion go beyond its fundamental function.
I’m a little too petite for the fit to look exactly like how the model made it look like in the website, but I love it all the same!
Semi-summer dressing. Can you see the effort? I’ve always mentioned that summer is my least favorite season and that it is really not my element to spend all my time at the beach, but that doesn’t stop me from wearing bright and colorful, strictly no-black outfits such as this one! Couldn’t help but throw in a powder blue blazer though, as I can never, ever get over any form of outerwear, especially if it’s in my favorite color.
It’s raining as I type this, and I’m overjoyed that summer is officially over. It’s time to bring out all my knits again!
